Ancient Roots Acupuncture is a traditional East Asian clinic and primarily uses acupuncture & personalized herbal medicine for treatment. However, there are multiple modalities that are encompassed by East Asian Medicine such as moxibustion & cupping. Depending on the doctor’s assessment and your comfort level, the following therapies may be combined with your acupuncture treatment for optimal results. All of the treatments include PEMF & far-Infrared heat.
Moxibustion (Moxa)
Aids the body in healing by warming and invigorating blood & Qi (Chi). Moxa has been shown in clinical trials to follow the ancient Chinese meridians used in acupuncture and to heat similar to infrared heating deep into the tissues to speed recovery & healing.
Cupping Therapy
Used to help relieve muscle aches and pains and to move stagnant Qi & blood
Gua Sha
Used to bring the bodies natural healing ability to the skin surface
Tui Na
An ancient Chinese body work that is used in combination with acupuncture to release areas of stagnation and can help prepare body for acupuncture
LightStim+
Red/Blue Light therapy that can treat wrinkles & acne. Promotes healthy radiant skin that glows from within
Chinese Herbal Medicine
Used in conjunction with acupuncture or by itself to aide in healing. Prescriptions are made to match each individuals requirements.
PEMF Therapy
PEMF Therapy has been shown in clinical studies to aide in reducing systemic inflammation, increases local circulation, accelerate healing of non-union fractures, helps with arthritis & stiffness, and helps speed-up overall healing from injuries
Far Infrared heated mats
Far Infrared heat has been shown to alleviate minor muscle and joint pain, naturally help body to detox, reduces minor pain & stiffness, lessen symptoms of chronic fatigue
